Volleyball Magazine Cover with Kerri Walsh

So I shot my first national magazine cover for Volleyball Magazine with two time gold medalist Kerri Walsh. It was so nice working with her. Not only is her nickname "6 feet of sunshine" (even though she's 6'3") but I think she has a heart of gold too. What an amazing, humble yet powerful human being. Thanks, Kerri!

Outrigger Magazine Cover!

I was so surprised today when I went to the Outrigger Canoe Club for a ladies lunch and someone told me that my photo was on the cover of the May issue of the magazine! I had submitted the photo a while back but never thought that they would use it on the cover! Thank you OCC! Oh, by the way, I took it with my iPhone!

Super Busy

So it's been a busy start to 2011 which I am very grateful. I've been shooting for various magazines, doing tests and basically building my craft. Loving every minute of it. Here are a few images of a test I shot this week of a model from NYC. I've got to say that living here in Hawaii makes for the most beautiful natural backdrops around!

Austin is hot. He's hot and he's new to the fashion world which means he's hot and nice. Here's a few pics from a 15 minute shoot we did. Tell me this boy isn't supposed to be a star...

World Premier of Hawaii 5-0

I'm not the paparazzi type of photographer, not that there's anything wrong with that (except for the invasion of people's privacy, car chases, etc., etc., etc...) but hey, that's not my style. Anyway, when a friend who does PR asked me if I wanted to shoot this, I said, why not? Sounds like fun. It was! Kevin and I went (he protected my gear) and had a blast! Around 10,000 people came to Waikiki Beach to witness the premier of the the new Hawaii 5 -0 show and it was great. Special thanks to Erika for asking me! :D Chee Hoo!
